Eva Holmquist är en vetgirig bokmal som skriver fantasy, science fiction och skräck. Hon är uppvuxen i Pixbo utanför Göteborg, men bor numera i Jönköping. Dagarna används åt att kvalitetssäkra IT-system medan kvällar och helger ägnas åt böcker och familjen.
”Eva Holmquist är något av en veteran inom svensk fantastik” skrev Btj när Blodskifte, som är en urban fantasy som utspelar sig i Jönköping, kom ut 2017. Hennes berättelser brukar beskrivas som fantasifulla, tänkvärda berättelser med berättarglädje. Hon skriver både noveller och längre berättelser. Dessutom skriver hon facklitteratur som exempelvis boken ”Praktisk mjukvarutestning”.
